Make a Dinosaur

Learn how to build a t-rex-traordinary clay dinosaur using local Cornish clay! Devon-based potter Elin Hughes will guide you step by step through how to use coiling and pinching techniques to create your own unique dinosaur. After the workshop dinosaurs will be glazed in your choice of one of five colours and high fired to be durable ceramic. They will be ready for collection from the Burton within a few weeks.

No experience necessary. Pieces will be fired and simply glazed afterwards.
