This catalogue accompanied the exhibition of Louise Bourgeois The Woven Child at The Hayward Gallery. It focuses on the diverse fabric and textile sculptures that was created in the last two decades of her life. Bourgeois had accumulated a collection of clothing from her own childhood and also garments belonging to mother. These were incorporated into Bourgeois’s sculptural installations such as her Cells or free-standing pieces displaying the missing bodies showing depicting absence and loss. A mainly pictorial book with some text and over 200 pages.
