Pop Art & Pottery presents a kaleidoscope of Pop ceramics by key artists from around the world. From special edition dinner sets to tea services, and vases to mugs, this exhibition features items from private collections never before displayed in public.
Curated by Nick Duxbury and the Burton at Bideford, the exhibition brings conversations around Pop Art into the twenty-first century. It includes work by contemporary ceramic artists who use everyday objects as their canvas for pop culture references and who reproduce the mass-produced as unique, fragile objects.
