Explore the magic of analogue (old school!) ways of making photographs, with artist and photography expert Stephen Raff.
This three-day course will introduce you to various methods of making your own cameras and creating photographs, using The Burton’s own Camera Obscura as a starting point. During the course, you will:
- Experiment with the camera obscura and learn how it works
- Make your own camera obscura
- Create your own pinhole cameras, and use them to take and develop your own photographs
- Learn about and create cyanotypes
- Create an artist’s book of all the things you’ve made during the three days.
