Journey Through Art is a new programme for young people aged 6 – 13 years*. Once a month, the Burton will host workshops for this age group covering a variety of creative media and skills. Come along simply to have fun and get creative, or choose to work towards an Arts Award.
Regular participants who want to work towards an Arts Award can pick up a Journey Through Art Passport for £2 to keep a record of their hours. You can purchase your Passport online or in person from the gallery shop.
Dates of next sessions:
- Saturday April 20th 10 am-12 pm: Stitching into photos and printed images with seamstress Anna Houghton
- Sunday May 19th, 11am-1pm: Photography workshop with photographer Amanda McCormack
- Saturday June 22nd 10am-12pm: Art inspired by Yinke Shonibeare
