We are thrilled to announce Edie Evans as our Ceramics Residency 2025-26 artist. Edie is an artist working at the intersection of ecology, neurodiversity, and materiality.

The Friends of The Burton and Bideford Music Club are pleased to present London-based ensemble MZ Duo in conjunction with the exhibition ‘Joan Miró: Painting and Poetry.’

The Burton is proud to present this Hayward Gallery Touring exhibition which brings together 26 lithographic prints from internationally celebrated artist, Joan Miró, created to illustrate the writings of the celebrated French surrealist poet Robert Desnos.

This year’s exhibition includes a fantastic range of subject matters and materials, showcasing the talent of artists across the South West region and beyond.

Torridge District Council has teamed up with public art organisation Company, Place and award winning artist duo Supergroup on a series of creative projects in Bideford.

The funding aims to support museums in stabilising their financial situation and building towards sustainable and thriving futures. 

Contemporary approaches to clay are celebrated in 'William Cobbing: Despised mud, I love you', opening this month.

Entry details are now available for the exhibition, which runs from 15 November to 21 December.

Photographer Jamie Dormer-Durling will run a series of workshops for asylum seekers and refugees in partnership with The Pickwell Foundation.
