The Burton at Bideford has been awarded £50,000 from Art Fund, the national charity of museums and galleries, to reimagine how its collections are used and shared over the next two-years.

The Friends of The Burton and Bideford Music Club are pleased to present London-based ensemble MZ Duo in conjunction with the exhibition ‘Joan Miró: Painting and Poetry.’

The Burton is proud to present this Hayward Gallery Touring exhibition which brings together 26 lithographic prints from internationally celebrated artist, Joan Miró, created to illustrate the writings of the celebrated French surrealist poet Robert Desnos.

This year’s exhibition includes a fantastic range of subject matters and materials, showcasing the talent of artists across the South West region and beyond.
