We are delighted to welcome five new Trustees to The Burton at an exciting time in our journey as we celebrate our 75th anniversary year. Each of them bring a wealth of experience, fresh perspectives, and a strong commitment to the work we do at The Burton, and we look forward to the influence that they will have on shaping the continued growth and development of the gallery.
Our Trustees are volunteers who generously give their time to help provide governance for the charity, also known as Board Members or the Board. They play a vital role in shaping its direction, making decisions about how the organisation is run, and ensuring it has the resources and policies needed to meet its legal and strategic responsibilities.
Our new Trustees join existing Board members Robert Millward (Chair), Robert Woolley (Vice Chair), Jo Jones (Secretary), Ben Liddell, Ian Huggett, Nick Beer, Sarah Lawrence and Sam Astill, whose ongoing support continues to guide the organisation.
