The Friends of the Burton Art Gallery and Museum are looking to recruit a new Honorary Treasurer.
The post of Treasurer for the Friends is an unpaid position.
The job involves the payment of bills, documentation of receipts, keeping accounts of the Friends’ receipts and payments, reporting regularly to the Friends’ Committee, producing annual accounts for the Annual General Meeting and for the Charity Commission.
The Honorary Treasurer would be a member of the Friends’ Committee, which normally meets six times per year for about two hours, and would have regular communication with and support from the Chair and Membership Secretary.
Ideally, the successful applicant would be available to start as soon as possible.
