Let's Clay! Dishy Dishes

An experimental dish-making workshop inspired by French patisserie techniques and the sculptural ceramics of legendary Californian artist JB Blunk. Using white earthenware and hand-building processes — cutting, joining, pressing and folding — we’ll explore creative ways of making dishes that sit somewhere between functional tableware and sculptural objects. In this single session, there will also be an opportunity to learn simple wheel techniques and surface decoration. No experience necessary. Pieces will be fired and simply glazed afterwards
