The Burton's 75th Birthday Party Kiln Firing

To celebrate our 75th birthday, we will be firing our Bottle Kiln for the first time in 13 years. Twenty local potters have made pots to be fired in the wood fired kiln, which, when lit, promises to be a dramatic sight as steam rises into the Autumn sky. Thin Nick’s pizza van will provide nourishment, and drinks will be on offer in the galleries, which are hosting the Let’s Clay! exhibition - an open access studio where visitors can get their hands dirty and play with clay.

We hope you will join us to celebrate our ceramics heritage and look forward to another 75 years of delivering high quality cultural experiences to the people of North Devon.
