Article: FUTURE ACTIONS with Low Profile

FUTURE ACTIONS with Low Profile

Saturday 5 December | 11am - 3pm | FREE

Shape the next 75 years of The Burton at Bideford!

Drop in to join artists LOW PROFILE for a creative workshop where your voice will help to shape the future path for gallery and museum.

What do you want the future of The Burton to look like? Working with the theme of 'actions’ and a pre-prepared set of words that reflect on heritage, care, connection and hope, you will craft a set of mottos and future intentions. What you’ll do

  • Craft your own motto using a specially curated word list
  • Press your statement into a custom badge using a badge-making machine
  • Take your badge home as a personal pledge, while we photograph it to add to a growing collection of community desires

The badges and ideas generated during this session will directly inform a set of agreed mottos to guide the organisation’s decision-making, planning, and core values for the next 75 years.
