The Christine Halstead Ceramic Collection

The Christine Halstead Ceramic Collection was passionately collected over forty years, amassing over 400 pieces of studio ware. It is not only noted for its breathtaking quality but also its historical reflection of studio potters working in the South West.

This exhibition is an opportunity to view a large selection of works from the beginning of the collection in 1973 when Christine started collecting pieces from ceramicists including Lucie Rie, David Leach and Bernard Forrester to works by Mick Casson, John Maltby, Colin Pearson Marianne de Trey, Duncan Ross, John Pollex, Tim Andrews, Edmund de Waal, Takeshi Yasuda, Sasha Wardell, Ruthanne Tudball and Chris Keenan.
