Aimed at 7 - 11 year olds, we offer a variety of art activities for you to enjoy. Inspired by our exhibitions and displays the activities are led by either Holsworthy Family Workshop or Karen Hawkins, public artist. All we ask is that participants bring a packed lunch and a drink and wear old clothes. Parents are welcome to stay and join in. If the weather is nice we may take lunch outside in Victoria Park. Booking and payment in advance is essential.
In Summer 2011 over 140 places were taken up by children on the summer childrens workshops programme. At the end of the summer we contacted parents to get feedback, all of which was extremely positive and without question all those contacted felt the childrens workshops were value for money.
To book a place on a childrens workshop, download a booking form for children (below) and return with payment to the Burton.
